On September 21, in a friendly and sincere atmosphere, we presented the renewed OPORA. We changed from the outside and are willed with a renewed mission. OPORA not only works in the field of elections but has grown up, rethinks the problem of choice and focuses on the topics of security and justice.

Having expanded our sphere of competence, we felt the need to transform our appearance, too.  The foremost purpose of our rebranding is to emphasize the experience and expertise we gained during many years of work, along with integration into contemporary life of our country and deep understanding of today's processes. 

The pro-government Georgian parliamentary group “Power of the People” has developed and registered in the Georgian parliament two draft laws under a shared provisional name “On Foreign Agents”. Yesterday, on September 29, within Human Dimensions Conference, which is taking place in Warsaw, the informal meeting of Ukrainian civil soiety representatives with Matteo Mecacci, Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights was held.

During August 1–4, OPORA held the first Open Election Data and Disinformation Academy in Warsaw, participated by the civil society representatives from 11 countries. The event was organized with the support of the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
