On March 18, 2022, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine suspended all activities of the following political parties in Ukraine during the martial law: "Opposition Platform - For Life", "Shariy Party", "Nashi", "Opposition Bloc", "Left Opposition", Union of Left Forces, Derzhava, the Progressive Socialist Party, the Socialist Party, the Party of Socialists, and Volodymyr Saldo Bloc.

Gender balance in local councils
Local councils of oblast centers comprise 3,181 members, 2,621 men (82%) and 558 women (18%). When comparing this data with membership of the Verkhovna Rada, we get similar figures. Thus, 80% of MPs in Ukrainian Parliament are men and 20% - women. These are monitoring results from Civil Network OPORA, which covered 52 city and oblast councils as of April 2020.
