On 6 November 2016, the early mayoral election campaign has started in Kryvyi Rih. Preparations for organization and conduct of elections, scheduled for 27 March, are made quite properly. However, the fact that some potential candidates started early campaigning is against the principle of equal opportunities for other participants of the election.

On Thursday, 25 February 2016, at 12:30 PM in the press-center of UNIAN Information Agency (Kyiv, 4 Khreshatyk St.), Civil Network OPORA is holding a press-conference dedicated to preliminary observation results of early mayoral election in Kryvyi Rih.

OPORA calls on the Kyiv City Council, the Central Election Commission, as well as local and national political subjects to guarantee citizens of the capital realization of their rights.
