As of 4:00 PM, voter turnout in in early election of Kryvyi Rih city mayor reached 44.9% (margin of error 1.1%). To compare, the voter turnout in 15 November 2016 regular election of Kryvyi Rih city mayor was 28% as of 4:00 PM.

OPORA's observers noticed that the voters were brought by buses to election precincts in an organized manner. The organization calls on law enforcement bodies to investigate into the fact of voter transportation, ordered by Kryvyi Rih City Association of Veterans, and determine the source of financing and whether it has signs of indirect voter bribery.

According to the data gathered by official observers of Civil Network OPORA, there were no gross violations on the beginning of election day in early election of Kryvyi Rih city mayor. Observers reported calm atmosphere on preparatory meetings of PECs and opening of polling stations. At the same time, a number of procedural violations occurred in PECs.

Election campaign in Kryvyi Rih has reached its final stage. Most of candidates have been actively campaigning on the last week before the election day, and some of them did violate law regulations and the principle of equal opportunities. Election commissions are functioning properly despite constant rotations, and don't make any hazards for further organization of the election process.

Although the regular elections of City Mayor on 25 October 2016 had 6 candidates more than this election, the voters have a competitive list of nominees to select from, representing various political groups.
