Cherkasy City Election Commission has recognized Serhii Odarych (the Party of Free Democrats) elected as city mayor. 10 of 18 members of the TEC voted for this decision. The Commission determined voting results without results of 5 polling stations, which were considered void.  

In Cherkasy, debates regarding the dissolution of the territorial election commission (TEC) and allocation of quotas for members of new TEC. 

The territorial commission is considering complaints from candidates and parties, related to violations during the election day. Thus, the TEC has considered around 30 complaints, 20 of which are already satisfied. It means that ballot papers at these polls will be recounted. It should be mentioned that the territorial commission is still considering the complaints that came from Sosnivskyi district, the protocol from Prydniprovskyi district is still not processed. 

The Head of Precinct election commission #710996 (Cherkasy city) has refused to give observers copies of protocols, explaining that they need these copies themselves.

In the night from 15 to 16 December, OPORA observers have reported at least three incidents when members of precinct election commissions were rewriting their protocols in premises of district commission. After inaccuracies were noticed in the protocols, members of precinct commissions were correcting them right on the spot, with all the corresponding stamps.   27 young people came to the DEC #197 and stood in front of the building with posters saying "For fair elections", "No to Falsifications". Girls and boys were standing silent. As they say, they represent youth of Cherkasy oblast, who decided to demonstrate their position.
