On June 2, 2013 special elections of Berehove city mayor were held. Civil Network OPORA was conducting parallel vote tabulation in Berehove. OPORA observers were present at all polling stations of the town and gathered voting results data from Precinct Election Commissions.

According to the results of parallel vote tabulation conducted by OPORA, a candidate from the Democratic Party of Hungarians of Ukraine Zoltan Babiak has received the biggest number of votes.He has received 54.9% or 5 thousand 547 votes. Parallel vote tabulation results are based on preliminary protocols of Precinct Election Commissions.

Candidate from the United Center Party Olha Bizilia22.91% or 2 thousand 315 votes.

A candidate from the KMKS-Party of Hungarians of Ukraine Oros Heiza – 11.24% or 1 thousand 136 votes.

A candidate from the UDAR Party Vitalii Antipov has received 1.57% or 159 votes.

All the other candidates have got 5.22% or 527 votes.

0.7% or 71 voters haven't supported any candidate.

7.66% or 349 ballots were considered as void.

On June 4, 2013 Civil Network OPORA is planning to publish a Statement on voting results for special elections of Berehove city mayor. In this statement, OPORA will summarize the course of election, vote tabulation in election precincts, voting results determined by the Territorial Election Commission. OPORA will also assess noticed violations and their influence on voting results.
