On 28 August activists of the Civil Network OPORA received a call from a member of the DEC #186 (Tsiuriupynsk city) Shpachynska Nina Vasylivna (Our Ukraine - People's Self Defense). She informed: "Haiavan Eleonora Oleksandrivna (Green Planet Party), the deputy Head of the DEC, called me today and notified about a meeting of election commission which is to be held on 29 of August, on which members of the DEC shall take the oath.
On the question - why members of the election commission notifies the deputy head, but not the Head as required by legal regulations (Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine "On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine"), I received an answer - "Everything is agreed with Tamara Fedko". We should mention, that Tamara Fedko - is a deputy head of Kherson Oblast Council, a member of the Party of Regions, why representatives of parties - subjects of the election process - interfere in the work of the DEC and neglect of the law on elections.
Similar information was received also from the DEC #182. Buzak Taras Oleksandrovych (Our Ukraine - People's Self Defense), the member of this DEC, informed that he received a notice about the first meeting of the commission from the deputy head of the DEC. He explains, that they can't find the Head of the DEC.
