City planning rules are violated again in Chernihiv. This time, OPORA's representatives have noticed leaflets stuck on poles and buildings of city center, promoting MP candidate in SMD #205 Andrii Mishchenko (nominated by the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda political party).
There was also a leaflet advertising an evening of the arts participated by the People's Artist of Ukraine Bohdan Beniuk and sponsored by the MP Andrii Mishchenko. Although other leaflets contain an imprint data, the leaflet advertising evening of the arts doesn't contain any what is against the electoral legislation. According to the Article 69(7) of the Law of Ukraine on Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine, „printed campaign materials shall contain information on the person requesting the publication of such materials, the establishment that published them, their circulation, and information on the individuals in charge of the issue“.
Civil Network OPORA continues watching the situation as a part of citizen monitoring of an MP of Ukraine in district #205, and informing the public about any changes.
