In Donetsk oblast, the voter turnout is 13.7% as of 6pm. Such information was reported by observers of a joint monitoring campaign of the Donetsk Office of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine and Civic Network OPORA.

The data was calculated from the number of voters, included to voter lists at open polling stations.

District #47 (Oleksandrivka)

16.1% of voters, who are included in the lists of 19 opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #47 — 142,367.

District #49 (Dobropillia)

14% of voters, who are included in the lists of 77 opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #49 — 153,667.

District #50 (Krasnoarmiisk)

32% of voters, who are included in the lists of 55 opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #50 — 161,651.

District #58 (Mariupol)

10.3% of voters, who are included in the lists of opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #58 — 167,801.

District #59 (Mariupol)

11.9% of voters, who are included in the lists of opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #59 — 168,676.

District #61 (Dokuchaevsk)

23.9% of voters, who are included in the lists of opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #61 — 142,864.

District #62 (Starobeshevo)

10% of voters, who are included in the lists of opened polling stations, have voted. The total number of voters in district #62 — 129,103.

The voting has started in one more district. The number of district cannot be aired by observers due to the threat of terrorist attack.

About civic observation during the elections:

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA and AUNGO Committee of Voters of Ukraine in Donetsk - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action.

Since March, OPORA conducts a wide observation campaign during snap Presidential election, interim Parliamentary elections (district #83), and special local elections. The organization cooperates with 175 long-term observers, who are watching the course of election campaign in all Ukrainian regions. On the Election Day on May 25, 3,000 activists will join them to conduct the parallel vote tabulation, based on statistical sample. In Donetsk oblast, civic observation during Presidential Election is secured by the Donetsk Office of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
