Civil Network OPORA has successfully passed the scheduled audit of financial statements for 2012. The assessment was conducted by an international company KPMG, which is one of the Big Four audit firms. The final report indicates that OPORA's financial statements accurately represent receipts and expenses as indicated in the accounting.

KPMG auditors have also verified organization's documentation, the use of funds, correspondence between OPORA's activities and terms of agreements, legislative and other regulatory acts, systems of internal control over the preparation of financial and tax reports.

Positive audit report proves that Civil Network OPORA is functioning on a high-quality level. It is important for OPORA to reach program goals while acting in compliance with Ukrainian legislation and international standards for non-governmental organizations.

We remind that the Civil Network OPORA All-Ukrainian non-governmental organization was founded in 2006. The organization works in the following directions: securing long-term observation and analysis of the election process, program activities of political parties in Ukraine, electoral observation and parliamentary monitoring; comprehensive civic observation of the external independent testing (EIT) and the admission campaign to universities in Ukraine; introduction of an institutionalized model of Condominiums (HOAs) in Ukraine. Previous international audit of financial statements was conducted by the KPMG in 2011. The final report was also positive.
