On June 2, 2013 special elections of Vasylkiv Сity Mayor were held. Civil Network OPORA was conducting parallel vote tabulation in Vasylkiv. OPORA observers were present at all polling stations of the town and gathered voting results data from Precinct Election Commissions.
According to the results of parallel vote tabulation conducted by OPORA, a candidate from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Sabadash has received the biggest number of votes.He has received 30.39% or 3 thousand 395 votes. Parallel vote tabulation results are based on preliminary protocols of Precinct Election Commissions.
The second place is taken by a candidate from the UDAR Serhii Sabov – 28.25% or 3 thousand 155 votes.
The third place is taken by a candidate from the Unity Party Valerii Popovych-26.38% or 2 thousand 947 votes.
Oleksandr Sokol, nominated by the Cossacks Party 1.81% or 202 votes.
All the other candidates have got 9.76 % or 1090 votes.
1.31% or 146 voters haven't supported any candidate.
2.10 % or 235 ballots were considered as void.
On June 3, 2013 Civil Network OPORA is planning to publish a Statement on voting results of special elections of Vasylkiv City Mayor. In this statement, OPORA will summarize the course of election, vote tabulation in election precincts, voting results determined by the Territorial Election Commission. OPORA will also assess noticed violations and their influence on voting results.
