A self-nominated candidate in the district No.86 Vyacheslav Kredisov “appropriated” the monument to Ivan Vyhovskyi in Maniava Skete. In the last week special issue of the newspaper Vechirnii Ivano-Frankivsk (Evening Ivano-Frankivsk), a list of good deeds done by Kredisov's Charitable Foundation is presented there, among which there is “Maniava — a monument to Ivan Vyhovskyi.”

As it is known, the first monument to Ivan Vyhovskyi was opened on 12 October and consecrated by Metropolitan Joasaph, Dean of Maniava Monastery of Exaltation of the Holy Cross, with participation of his creators — benefactors Volodymyr Hrabovetskyi (self-nominated candidate in the district No.86) and Yurii Derevyanko. As the Press Service of Volodymyr Hrabovetskyi assured OPORA, Vyacheslav Kredisov has nothing to do with the construction or the opening of the monument.

“A Galician sculptor Vasyl Hurmak came up with an idea to commemorate Hetman Vyhovskyi ten years ago. In early summer this year, this idea was supported by patrons Volodymyr Hrabovetskyi and Yurii Derevyanko, Co-Chairs of Yurii Derevyanko Charitable Foundation. The opening of the monument took place, as planned, on Intercession Day,“ said Press Secretary of Volodymyr Hrabovetskyi Nataliia Kushnirenko.
