Kaniv city in Cherkasy oblast ( district#197) is full of billboards in support of the single-member candidate from the Party of Regions Viktor Korzh
The biggest part of advertising space in Kaniv is used by Viktor Korzh, and his advertisement depicting representatives of municipal enterprises and organizations. One of billboards contains a picture of Viktor Tykhomyriv, Director of the Kaniv College of Culture, and Tetiana Doroshenko, Director of the Children's center of tourism. The advertising slogan on their behalf is "Our choice is Viktor Korzh". However, these very billboards were covered with white paper later. It happened because Tetiana Doroshenko is not only Director of the Children's center of tourism, but also a Head of Precinct Election Commission #710894 in district#197. The other bill boards are still there.
We remind, that according to the Article 74 (1.2 and 1.4) of the Law of Ukraine "On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine" "participation of members of election commissions in the election campaigning at the time of their authority in corresponding election commissions is forbidden", also forbidden participation of "executive bodies, governmental bodies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and bodies of local government, law enforcement bodies and courts".
Besides that, all enterprises, organizations and institutions received an invitation to sign "Social agreement" between Viktor Korzh and Kaniv community. It was sent from the executive committee of Kaniv City Council. However, as well as in situation of Tetiana Doroshenko, they changed their mind and published on the official site information, that this letter is a mistake and it shall be considered valid.
