In the district No.164, Zbarazh, advertising constructions placed illegally were found. Though they should have been dismantled in early September, it hasn't happened yet — the billboards feature an acting deputy and candidate of this district.

Ternopil politicians who advertise on billboards were fought more radical. Back in September, the Prosecutor's Office of the oblast declared that the prosecution authorities of Ternopil Oblast conducted inspection of compliance with the legislation on advertising regarding the legality of placing outdoor advertising in the region.

“Prosecution inspections revealed that most advertising constructions are located on the street and road network in violation of the Law of Ukraine On Advertising,” noted in the Press Service of the Prosecutor's Office of the oblast.

As a result, some advertising constructions were dismantled. At the same time, 49 economic entities continue to use special advertising constructions of communal facilities without permission for their placement, and the question of dismantling remains unresolved, says the Prosecutor's Office.

Recently, a representative of OPORA in Zbarazh Raion had an opportunity to check how road workers fight illegal advertising.

On the billboard with campaigning advertising of the politician Orest Muts, at the bottom, on the white line, it says in large letters, “This billboard is used illegally”, and it is added when the permission period for this advertisement expired. However, part of this message is already painted over with black paint. By the way, the message has appeared recently since on 13 October, when OPORA observers were in this area, there hasn't been any message.

The situation is flavoured by the fact that the deputy of the VR Orest Muts rather actively fought abuse by road workers in the district when during the road maintenance, another self-nominated candidate was advertising. Now, it turns out that road workers took the billboards featuring Muts rather tolerantly though they should have removed them almost 2 months ago.
