In the electoral district No.146 on the night of 19 to 20 October, announcements from the candidate for People's Deputy of Ukraine of the Party of Regions Oleh Nadosha appeared with the invitation to receive financial aid in the amount of 856 hryvnias, and the list of documents required to receive this money.

The town of Kremenchuk, which is the centre of the electoral district No.146, on the night of 19 to 20 October was massively covered in announcement, in which the candidate for People's Deputy of the Party of Regions and acting deputy of the Parliament Oleh Nadosha invited the voters to receive financial aid for socially disadvantaged groups. The announcement was written in the form of appeal and contained the following —

“Dear citizens of Kremechuk, Within my election campaign, financial aid for socially disadvantaged groups in the amount of the living wage of 865 hryvnias will be delivered. Please have your passport and identification number with you. Issue of money is held daily from 17 October 2012 to 24 October 2012 at the following address — Kremenchuk, 4 Sadova St (Pantagruel Hotel).

Кременчук

The address indicated in the announcement coincided with the address of the office of the candidate's headquarters, and the telephone numbers provided appeared valid. It is also interesting that on the leaflet, the printer's imprint, circulation, and the person responsible for printing, who turned out to be Oleh Nadosha himself, were indicated. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a comment on this situation from the candidate himself but in the headquarters of Oleh Volodymyrovych we were informed that this announcement is nothing more than a provocation of another candidate in this electoral district — self-nominated candidate Yurii Shapovalov but our question why exactly Yurii Shapovalov was the author of such provocation was answered by a long pause and apologised for hasty conclusions.

OPORA reminds that bribery of voters is a direct violation of Section 13, Article 74 of the the Law of Ukraine On Election of People's Deputies.
