In Poltava Oblast, September was very fruitful not only for presents for the first graders from the candidates for People's Deputy but also for major refurbishment of hospitals. Such a gesture of charity was made in the election district No.150 by the current people's deputy, who is also a candidate for a deputy's seat, Kostiantyn Zhevaho. The total amount of investment is about 3 million Hryvnias.
In the beginning of September, in the town of Kremenchuk, the refurbished department of surgery of the Central Raion Hospital (CRH) was formally opened. It is worth mentioning that when the larger part of the town makes the single election district under number 146, Kremenchuk Raion, which is served by the CRH, belongs to another election district — No.150 with the centre in the town of Komsomolsk, where the serving people's deputy Kostiantyn Zhevaho is registered as a candidate.
At the opening of the refurbished department, a very respectable delegation was present, headed by the Governor of Poltava Oblast Oleksandr Udovichenko, who is also the Head of the oblast organisation of the Party of Regions; and the refurbishment itself became possible thanks to the charitable donation of the People's Deputy Kostiantyn Zhevaho, who invested 3 million hryvnias of the sponsorship funds of his company — Poltava Mining and Refining Plant — into this matter. This company is the main employer in the town of Komsomolsk — the centre of this election district.
The ceremonial opening of the refurbished department of surgery, and the role that mister Zhevaho played in this event was widely reported in the local press. Furthermore, the report about this event with numerous photos was also published on the official website of Poltava Oblast State Administration.
However, attention is drawn to the fact that in any of the reports, it was not mentioned that Kostiantyn Zhevaho is not only a serving people's deputy but also a self-nominated candidate in the E.D. No.150. Therefore, using his status of a serving deputy of the VRU, the candidate is not subject to the Law of Ukraine On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine, according to which all the funds spent by candidates within their election activities shall go through special election funds. Thus, such situation creates unequal conditions for the candidates, and the candidates being deputies, on the opportunities of conducting their campaigning.
