The Civil Network OPORA have already informed about the conflict in Kulykivka town, with a candidate for MP of Ukraine in district #208 Oleh Liashko involved, which took place during the celebration of the Independence Day. According to Oleksandr Bei, the Chairman of NGO "For Chernihiv", in addition to the published information, should be mentioned "inadequate behavior of Mr. Lyashko."

"Oleh Liashko lost his temper and was running to and fro on the square, used foul language, clung to the agitators, which finished handing materials and stood at the bus at that time. He also run up to the driver who delivered agitators, threatened him with physical harm, saying that he will smash the car and blow it up. Than he grabbed 50-year-old man's cross strap and choke him", - Mr. Bei aired during the press conference on 27 August.

Along with that, the representative of NGO "For Chernihiv" insisted that leaflets were disseminated in support of a candidate in the district #208 Borys Boiprav, but not to discredit Mr. Liashko. The published material concerned only declared income of Mr. Liashko.

"Liashko was shouting to law enforcement officers that this is a black PR against him. But is it black PR, if Liashko personally filled out this declaration and the CEC published it? It's available for everybody on the CEC site. We did little - published it, and let everybody know who this Liashko in reality", - informed Oleksandr Bei.Чернігів

As long as the situation is single-sided, OPoRA contacted Vasyl Voloshko, MP candidate nominated from the Radical Party to which belongs Oleh Liashko. The latter insists, that nobody was choking no one, and the behavior of Mr.Liashko was quite decent. He only demanded that the driver introduced himself, but he said nothing in response. Moreover, according to Mr. Voloshko, the driver had no right on transportation of campaigning materials. He is convinced that materials concerning Oleh Liashko, published by this, allegedly, clandestine publishing house, were really provocative.

A representative of OPORA asked Mr. Bei if they had any intention to provoke Mr. Liashko by their actions, and got an answer:

"We didn't know, that Oleh Liashko is going to participate in the celebration of Independence Day in Kulykivka town. Therefore, we couldn't forecast such reaction on our leaflet."

We remind, that besides self-nominated candidate Borys Boiprava and Oleh Liashko, the event was participated by the other candidates and the information was open. Besides that, another leaflet discrediting Oleh Liashko was disseminated lately, with a logo "For Chernihiv". However, representatives of the organization deny their involvement.
