31 October 2011 the Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government considered draft laws on elections of people's deputies of Ukraine, which was attended by people's deputies, representatives of the Presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Justice, Constitutional Court, Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, Working Group on improving electoral legislation, Central election commission, Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, political parties, NGOs, scientists, national experts on election law, representatives of the Venice Commission and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (MVFS / IFES).

2 November 2011 profile committee will consider the draft law “On Elections of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine” (No.9265-1 by VR deputy O.Yefremov and other), the draft law “On Elections of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine” (No.9265-2 by VR deputy Yu.Kliuchkovskyi and other) and draft Law on making amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Elections of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine” (No.9265-3 by VR deputy Ya.Dzhodzhyk and other).

3 November 2011 draft laws will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada.
