The Mykolayiv district territorial election commission received a submission from the oblast organization of the “Batkivshchyna” political party, requesting to exclude Ms Olha Krasnova from the membership of Chornomorske village election commission, and to include in lieu Ms Larysa Bila, member of the same commission from the “Servant of the People.” Several days after, the district commission received the submission from the oblast organization of the “Servant of the People” political party requesting to replace Larysa Bila by Olha Krasnova, member of the commission from the “Batkivshchyna.” The information came by an OPORA observer.
Thus, the first submission was signed by the head of the oblast branch of the party Vadym Pidberezniak, and sealed with the party stamp. It arrived to the TEC on August, 28. The commission members found that the submission from “Batkivshchyna” suggested excluding Olha Krasnova from the membership, and including Larysa Bila instead. However, the latter is already the commission member from the “Servant of the People”, and the party has not withdrawn her from the commission membership. According to the Protocol No 2 on the establishment of village and township commissions of Mykolayiv district and the Appendix No 15 of the Resolution, Olha Krasnova is the head of Chornomorske village election commission from the AU “Batkivshchyna,” and Larysa Bila is the commission member from the “Servant of the People” party.
“We received the submission from “Batkivshchyna” to withdraw Krasnova Olha Viktorivna and include Bila Larysa Oleksandrivna. Bila Larysa Oleksandrivna was included into the Chornomorske village commission from the “Servant of the People” party. There is no submission from the “Servant of the People” requesting to withdraw her, that is why I propose to reject the submission from the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna.” Thus, in order to include we need to exclude first. Let us vote,” said Yevhen Khrystiuk, head of Mykolayiv district TEC, during the meeting.
Members of Mykolayiv district election commission unanimously voted for the decision to reject the approval of changes in the membership of Chornomorske village election commission submitted by the local oblast branch of the AU “Batkivshchyna.”
The oblast organization of the “Batkivshchyna” party informed the OPORA observer about their concern about this situation. They claimed they would further investigate into it. They promised to notify OPORA about the internal investigation findings in a formal reply.
At the same time, the oblast organization of the “Servant fo the People” party commented they did not know about the situation, but on August, 31, they plan to file a submission requesting to replace the commission member Larysa Bila.
According to OPORA observer, the Mykolayiv TEC received the submission from the oblast organization of the “Servant of the People” on the same day. It suggests terminating the office of the commission member Larysa Bila, and including in her place Olha Krasnova, still the commission member from the AU “Batkivshchyna.” The issue will be considered during the next meeting of the election commission.
