How does the Verkhovna Rada of VIII convocation work? How active are the MPs in law-making and communication with the citizens? Whether there is any progress in openness and transparency of the MPs? We will discuss these questions on the National Forum titled: “How has the Parliament changed over six months?”, to be held in the conference hall of the President Hotel (12 Hospitalna St., Kyiv city) on Monday, 13 June from 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
We will present on the event the major indicators of Verkhovna Rada's 1.5 years of work, and gender breakdown of MPs' efficiency. OPORA will publish ratings of 105 majoritarian MPs for 3 months of monitoring. Participants will discuss the problem with adherence to the Rules of Parliamentary Procedure and law-making procedures, as well as Ukraine's experience in implementation of the Declaration on Parliamentary Openness.
Besides that, NGO representatives will present parliamentary analysis instruments, and everyone interested will be able to participate in a workshop on open parliament data.
