On Monday, 21 March at 11:00 a.m. in MediaHub (4/6 Suvorova St., Kyiv), Civil Network OPORA presents the first Ukrainian crowdsourcing platform for parliamentary activities analysis – They Vote for You.
There are thousands of draft laws submitted for consideration of Ukrainian Parliament, hundreds of which have already been voted on. Platform They Vote for You focuses on draft laws, which are important for the citizens, determine development of the country, and concern reforms and changes.
They Vote for You is developed for anyone trying to understand, how MPs of Ukraine fulfill their duties.
Representatives of Civil Network OPORA will tell about instruments that may be used for tracking and analysis of how each MP votes on vital draft laws and packages of reform initiatives, whether they are consistent in their choices, who votes contrary to his faction's policy, which MPs vote similarly, and present other means of the resource.
Besides that, they will demonstrate how one may join the efforts - upload the content and use it to track real positions of MPs in consideration of important draft laws.
The presentation will be made by:
- Yurii Lisovskyi, Expert at the Civil Network OPORA;
- Olena Rybii, the RADA Project Director at Civil Network OPORA;
- Nadiia Babynska, Analyst at the Civil Network OPORA.
Leading experts, representatives of parliamentary factions and their assistants, journalists, politologists, representatives of political parties were invited to the event.
