January 4, 2011 was the first working day of the registration points to independent external testing for students of Luhansk region who wish to enter higher education institutions in Ukraine in 2011.
For already several years external independent testing (EIT) is a necessary requirement for admission to higher educational institutions of Ukraine. EIT should enable the smart and gifted children to enter the universities, help to minimize corruption in the education system.
Registration will continue until February, 28, but it is better not to postpone it for the last week. More information about the registration and test dates can be found on the official website of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Evaluation. To register for testing, it is necessary to determine the subjects for the entrant. You need to know the list of necessary subjects at the university, where you intend to study. In 2011the independent external testing will be maintained for 12 subjects. All information about the terms of the test will be placed on personal pages of the graduates, which can be activated at the website of Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Evaluation in 4-5 days after registration. Invitations to the EIT will be also distributed by mail. Testing will be held from June 2 to 24, 2011.
Luhansk regional department of OPORA encourages students not to delay the registration and go through this process as early as possible for the entrant had enough time to reregister in case of discontent (absence of any documents or improperly filled out registration card).
The graduate will not be registered to EIT if s/he:
- provides not all the necessary documents for registration
- issues the application - a registration card in a wrong way
- specifies the false data in the application
- submits an application after the deadline.
Luhansk regional department of OPORA in 2011 will traditionally observe all stages of the EIT for the graduates and inform the public about the results of monitoring.
To improve public campaign monitoring, OPORA is ready to engage as many partners as possible. OPORA is ready to cooperate with parents' committees to register many short-term observers for the testing in Luhansk region. Parent committees that are ready to public monitoring of testing points together with Luhansk regional department of OPORA, send the request to email. In return you will receive a registration form, filling it, you can join the community of observers from OPORA. Training public observers will be held in May 2011.
