OPORA checked the work of operational staff on admissions, which on behalf of MES had to be created in each region.

Experts of the network wanted to contact the hotline with question that can be potentially interesting for each applicant: the notary refuses to certify copies of documents, what should I do? We emphasize that this issue is a test. A skilled worker must answer: it is not necessary to notarize the copies of documents; they will be notarized, after checking with originals. in the admission  committee.

The main hotline of Ministry of Education was too loaded. After the 10th call, the experts did not manage to connect.

OPORA tried to find phone numbers of the regional headquarters on the website of the regional education departments and city departments of Kyiv and Sevastopol, but it could be done only in 9 regions (in Vinnytsya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Sumy, Zhytomyr and Chernihiv region). In all other regions, including Crimea, Kyiv and Sevastopol, phone numbers of the hotline for students are absent on the websites, or are hard to find.

In Chernihiv, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk regions hotlines do not meet, and in Zhytomyr region number is constantly busy.

Professional advice on an issue that could potentially interest the applicant, was provided only two regional offices - Rivne and Zaporizhzhya.

We remind that according to the letter of the Minister of Education and Science Dmytro Tabachnyk, before 15 July in each regional and city department of education there should be operational headquarters on the admissions in 2010 with the hotline. Information on the hotline numbers would have been published in the media.
